A versão do Paul Newman é bastante melhor, mas esta Laura é talvez mais credível. Se bem me lembro (terei de rever), a Karen Allen é uma coisinha encantadora no outro filme, e a sua timidez é uma graça. Já esta é genuinamente toda atrapalhação, é menos bonita, mais apagada, e tem um rosto mais envelhecido. — A Katharine Hepburn está exaustiva, talvez demais; mas vai ficar inscrita na minha memória esta interpretação como *a* Amanda Wingfield.
