This is an upgraded Mr and Mrs Smith. Definitely worth a watch and probably my top film so far this year. I was really excited reading up on this and it didn’t disappoint.
The side characters definitely added to the plot rather than make it stale so that was really nice. I was entertained throughout and locked in, I’d 100% watch it again
This is a genuine Banger, after hearing this was the same director that made Banshees of Inisherin I watched this literally the next day and it met every expectation.
This was so well thought out and so many layers to the story and characters you meet, even with limited screen time, every single person meant a great deal to the story.
I can’t wait to own this one some day and add it to my collection, 10/10
I really enjoyed myself in this one, definitely felt like a feel good. For A24 I always expect something outlandish and this one wasn’t, not a bad change whatsoever, but still a change.
I will say, Coleman Domingo deserves his spotlight, I know he hasn’t won yet with two best actor nominations, but I do feel like his time will come soon.
