Although the story may not feel like much and heck I bet some may not even like how slowly information is given. Villeneuve, once again doesn’t treat us like idiots. But instead uses dialogue and visual storytelling to hide and hint at the bigger picture. Because, just like Emily Blunt's character, we don’t know how this works. We are just like her; witnessing the choices and consequences of this job. Which is why this quote perfectly summarises the film…

Part of me wishes it was a biopic and not a documentary. However, it’s still good and definitely tells its story in an interesting and creative way.

Oh yeah, also best scenes are the “I Wish” (Stevie Wonder) scene and the “Get Lucky” (Daft Punk) scene.

It’s alright, yeah… the acting is probably the best part, especially Marlon Brando, like he kinda carries the film. However, it never really hooked me, so it was kinda underwhelming considering the amount of praise I heard beforehand.

Ambitious yet mostly falls flat. The story literally goes nowhere and the characters are so underdeveloped. You would think a film that’s trying to cover so many subject matters to be nuanced. But in reality, the only thing carrying this film are the performances.

I thought it was kind of eh initially because all they did was party. However, as soon as it got to the second act it somehow turned into a comedy… Which yeahhh, I didn't expect, but it’s actually pretty funny.

Either way, after that, I did feel like it started to drag slightly. Although thankfully, in the third act, the scene in the car happens (If you know, you know). Everything started to make sense as it delivered what I would say is one of the most impactful scenes in a film this year.
