  easily one of the best movies of the year, with memorable performances from colin farrell, brendan gleeson, kerry condon, and the animals. a tragicomic rumination on the death of innocence/innate goodness/niceness—literally and figuratively—and yearning for legacy (?) towards the end of one’s life. fecking loved it!
