My presidential platform is that nobody should be allowed to make a movie over three hours until they’ve successfully made a movie under ninety minutes. Soderbergh is a master of economy, which means I would be delighted to watch a 4 hour director’s cut of these hot, devoted people outwitting everyone around them.

I’m losing my mind and I think everyone else has too. I am the dream audience for this movie, I’ve rewatched like 3 John Grisham adaptations this year alone and crave more. But this feels like a movie made by a 94 year old who has never watched a single episode of Law and Order and doesn’t understand that his audience - and the fictional jury in this movie - certainly have.
