beautiful beautiful beautiful. though the general theme and story of nevertheless never changes, this adaptation seems to tug at the heartstrings much more. perhaps it resonated with me during the time i watched this, but the presentation was amazing.

my first kdrama which set the standard for me 😝 even after my third rewatch, i still get the rush of emotions i felt when i first watched it in 2018. the lead actors’ chemistry was REAL. (on screen and irl). childhood friends to lovers trope but somehow this one was extra cutesy. obviously this is a biased review but this drama will always be one i love. nam joohyuk is so cute. ❤️

i did not intend on watching this but my mum happened to put it on the TV. the movie was captivating enough for me to stay until the end. 😮 ms gruwell reminds me of my teacher who taught my class for a while and i am sure she watched this film before because she made us play the ‘line game’ some time ago LOL. i want to read The Freedom Writers Diary now. awesome pawsome watch 😎👌
