Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Lost for words.
What an experience.
Everything I love about film.
It’s creative, it’s ambitious, it’s gorgeous to look at, it’s a pleasure to listen to, it’s emotion packed, it’s full of twists, it’s got payoff, it’s got tension, and more.
If I had to criticize, I would ask for a crazier finale to leave us on for the next one; however, I’m completely fine with the one we got.
I need to be able to rewatch and confirm for a 10/10, so I’m gonna give it…9.7/10

Even better the second time!
With my expectations out of the way, I was able to appreciate the movie a lot more. I still have issues with Adam Warlock solely being a plot device, the movie overly attempting to subvert expectations, slight plot repetition, and an underwhelming last scene with the villain; however, I was thoroughly more entertained and invested this time around.
I would have also appreciated Rocket being given a better end to his arc with High Evolutionary.
Great movie, better sequel.8.6/10
