  Will certainly appeal to first/second gen immigrants in America with a multicultural guilt complex, but ultimately a bit limited in its vision. Not sure if there was much to take away from this other than some cute and harmlessly beautiful moments. Nice score though, totally gorgeous.

  An ill-fated attempt at nuanced 9/11 critique that falls woefully short on account of some top-class narcissism. Watching Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the same frame as Katrina Kaif should be classified a crime. Neil Nitin Mukesh is just a void on screen. Far from an ideal way to unpack a South Asian diaspora narrative in the midst of complex politics—but I stuck around for the whole thing anyhow. <3 <3 <3
