Craftsmanship - forget what you know and just let this film wash over you like the river Jordan … the ride will not disappoint if you allow the innovative narrative run outside the boundaries of traditional storytelling to create a version of our world that is unnerving and as chaotic as any motion picture has been. The themes here are deep and get to the core level life’s biggest questions - why did God do this to us! You may not like his answer but you'll be entertained and perplexed.

The Substance, lacks well … substance
This film had a shallowness to it that’s hard to achieve given the 150 minute run time.
The characters had no depth, literally, just shells of characters, with nothing to offer other than their shallowness, which may be intentional? Not sure, but it’s a one note story across all aspects of the film.
