  idk if it was the pace or the bloated budget or the new scenery… just never hit quite like i thought it would. mark ruffalo gave a historic performance tho. mocking a sitting president? kind of cathartic to see.

  ugh! loved ani and thought igor’s placement in the later half of the movie was an interesting choice. in many ways, a “muscle man” who drives his grandma’s car and demands apologies but doesn’t understand assault is right in baker’s wheelhouse of characters.

  yeah i laughed and yeah i cried but mostly i was amazed in sean baker’s constant ability to put people i’ve met and known and loved and hated on a screen. 

  loved being in the theater and laughing with others :’)
