  still trying to figure out how i feel about this film….. really beautifully shot and obviously cate blanchett is a powerhouse, but i can’t stand political vagueness that positions itself as “nuance.” it just seems lazy. either way, i do think the “supernatural” element is under-considered in all the reviews i’ve read (is the final act of the film even really happening ? i honestly don’t know).
