this was so beautiful and life affirming!! a cast of all women with an ad-libbed script and such lighthearted sincerity! the canadian landscapes are so beautiful and capture the feeling of summer so well. this really made me feel so happy to be alive 🥹❤️

Nope 2022
I had super high hopes for this, but I ended up feeling pretty disappointed with it! Although I am a big fan of Peele's symbolic storytelling, I definitely think that Nope falls into a similar place as Us does, in the sense that there are a lot of disconnected (although compelling) story elements that are introduced but that never quite get tied together in a way that feels satisfying to me, narrative-wise.
