  Thus the Pirates trilogy rewatch is complete. Forgot how great these were – love pirates, love killing British colonial soldiers, love big action set pieces – wish they still made blockbusters like this

  (additional detail I forgot: how accurately they cast the pirates in these films to match the real historical diversity of pirate crews, pretty cool!)
