The movie tells the story of the mental anguish of a runaway member of the colonia dignidad cult in chile founded by Paul Schäfer a German Nazi who became infamous for the torture, imprisonment, and murder of political dissidents under the Pinochet government in the 1970s as well as child sex abuse within the colony. This stop motion film depicts the mental minefield an escaped member of the colony must navigate as she ventures out alone after years of control, abuse, and brainwashing. Dark and immensely meticulous this film will amaze and horrify you.
