For a 1989 film directed by a man, this film exceeded my expectations for female representation. It isn’t just a film you can think of as progressive for the time, but even today, there is so much stigma around women talking about their sexuality. Fallen Angels 1995
Something I have never seen before cinematography wise (in the best way possible). Really gorgeous film. The writing was simple but really clever. As for the plot I liked the anthology style and how we saw the characters interacting with eachother in their own storyline’s.

Good Will Hunting 1997
Genuinely one of my favourite scripts of all time. It’s even more unbelievable that Damon and Affleck wrote it themselves (then won the Oscar of course). Amazing cast and beautiful story telling. Stunning acting jobs from everyone.
