Park Chan-wook's editing choices are surgical and the writing is as stylish as ever, with great chemistry from the lead performances and an incorporation of South Korean geography and folklore that just feels right for a PCW movie. The only real pitfall for me was the plot, particularly towards the end, which began to meander at times and was generally not as taut nor deliberate as some of his earlier works. But that's a pretty tough bar to clear.

The Wolf of Wall Street 2013
It's kind of crazy how many chauvinistic finance bros spawned around me because of this movie. Maybe they didn't get what Scorsese was trying to say with this movie. Maybe you weren't supposed to actually agree with Belfort. If that were the case, then maybe he didn't convey that idea very well. Honestly, maybe I didn't even get it.
