The Player 1992
Nostalgic LA feeling but in a way I think my generation doesn’t experience so often. Pretty much the last of Hollywood’s golden age in a vaguely recognizable fashion. Kept me guessing for most of the movie in a way that’s pretty unique, sexy, and fun.
My only critique is they really tried hard to sex up the lead like I think that’s probably because idk a more handsome mid tier actor wasn’t available for the role. I honestly think if they just slid Robert Downey Jr into the role I would have given this 5 stars.
