  Okay, this was a guilty pleasure of a film. LOTS of fun. Think of this as Paranormal Activity's little sister.

  One of the film's biggest saving graces is that it's under one hour. The first half or so of the film moved very slowly, and felt as if we were all just waiting for the actors to warm up on a real Zoom chat. However, it really picked up the pace in the second half, and packed a punch, or…

  Okay, I gave it 4 stars. I guess because I just really love and dig Anya-Taylor Joy's performances, and especially here when it's in juxtaposition with Ralph Fiennes.

  I get that this is a bit over-the-top and cliched, but I really enjoyed the fare served up by The Menu. Even the ending scene worked for me.
