  Ridiculous and confusing, can’t imagine anyone that hasn’t played the games could follow along with the story. Having previously played the game this was based on 3 times, even I struggled due to the lack of explanation, leaving out key details, or Miike including his own original ideas to the script including a couple going on a crime spree and a bank robbery plot that seems to go nowhere.   The scene with her trying to help the movers but just getting in the way, assuming they’re getting upset and/or mad at her but sending her off with a smile and handing her a chair they think she likes perfectly encapsulates this movie I think. No one is filled with malicious intent, it’s all about our viewpoint. Very sweet movie.
