  Everything really is awesome...

  The Lego Movie just works. It really does, the idea, the animation, the multiple references to classic films, the selection of characters chosen to appear and of course the soundtrack (well the one song).
  I've got so much praise for Lord and Miller for pulling off what could easily have been a major disaster, instead they produced a movie that people of all ages will enjoy for years to come.

  A fascinating character piece played very well by Tom Hardy.
  Somehow the film does work despite Ivan Locke being the only character that we see on his drive from Birmingham to London, and you do finish the movie sort of wondering and caring about what would have happened next to all of the characters whom he speaks to on his drive.
  Whilst this is not really the sort of film that you would want to revisit certainly for a while, Steven Knight cannot be faulted for attempting to do something that most other directors wouldn't even consider.
