This took a minute for me to review but out of the three and a half hours of the film I wasn’t bored for a second of it. The ending reminded me of what Burnett talked about in the western genre. The cowboys are seen as outcasts no matter how courageous they were or if they saved the town; the samurai in this film are treated as such. The ending is so powerful because even though the remaining samurai save the village, it is a loss for them because they are not accepted and casted out of that society. That really stuck with me.

The Florida Project 2017
This got me so stressed and I didn’t really like it when I was watching it but now I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s an interesting film for sure
