Easily one of my new favorites of all time. Everything was so natural and realistic I felt like I was with them throughout their entire trip. It emphasized the importance of living life and going through experiences because ultimately, nothing lasts forever. Flawless. A classic for a reason, everything was perfectly done. Finding out that the dark cinematography throughout the entire film was purposeful to emphasize the shadiness of the Corleone family made these scenes so much cooler to me. An absolute masterpiece that covers loyalty, family, and moral and ethical boundaries that they all faced when in talks of business.

Typed 2 paragraphs and deleted it because even that wasn’t enough to express how this made me feel.

This is one of my new favorite romance movies of all time. I have not felt a puncher like this in a long time. The cinematography was perfect, so clear and vibrant with beautiful shots throughout. The movie was filled with passion, intimacy, and tension to the point where it felt you weren’t supposed to be watching. The space and silences between their dialogue makes you personally feel the loneliness and dread on the island. The acting was amazing and the underlying meanings and metaphorical scenes let you create a conclusion for yourself. The ending also left me speechless. Wow.
