I’ll preface by saying that while I have nothing against anime, I just don’t watch it (...yet). With that being said, this movie was absolutely beautiful, amazingly detailed, captivating, and moving.
My coworker only had to give me the basic “who’s who” at the beginning of the movie, but after 2 minutes, I could easily understand the plot without her assistance :)
