I would not necessarily have rewatched this AGAIN so quickly, but somebody suggested it for our Saturday Film Club, and I didn't mind. And actually it worked just as well as the first time around. It wasn't more exciting, but also not worse. It was just what it was. And it was definitely better than the burger I ate while watching it.

The NeverEnding Story 1984
I hated this film as a child - I still hate it. The book is a huge part of my childhood and in addition to overshadowing the book in the public's consciousness, at least internationally, the film also makes several changes that are truly detrimental to the book's message. Watching this again in 2022 let me appreciate the effects and puppetry, and the Artax scene really got me - but all in all the film is not just not good but actively bad.
