Feel like I didn’t breathe for the whole film. The filming style takes you through the horrors as Saul experiences them in survival mode.

You watch knowing that, were you there witnessing what he was (which is rarely actually shown), you have no idea how that version of yourself might react… would you abandon the living for the dead?

His last grasp at survival is maintaining some moral integrity and watching this gives you a great idea of the unpredictability and chaos of our actions in response to impending danger and death. Hell on earth.

As much as I enjoy a historical flick, I felt like there was often something missing in this, either a connection to Joaquin’s Napoleon or the ‘storyline’ that was his life. A lengthy film, but still felt rushed, much like his doggy style (poor Josephine)

Lucifer but make it (a hard to find any redeeming qualities) orchestra conductor who got what was coming. Tar succeeded in pissing me off (as anyone should be) and the ended was a satisfying one.

Striving for a life that immaculate comes with a whole bunch of maculations, who would’ve thought eh.

Screenplay was elegant and the colour palette set the mood nicely I.e this was a good grey Sunday watch since I already had the blues.
