  This will live in the back of your head for a while. You'll randomly think about it and it will terrify you, unexpectedly. While you're watching it, you'll probably laugh a lot because it's hilarious and very fun. I highly recommend this.

  The atmosphere is fantastic. Bill Skarsgård is amazing and the reason I gave this 3 stars. It felt twice as long as it actually was and I'm not sure if that's just me being impatient or an intentional aspect of the film. While I did appreciate Eggers' ability to be so effective visually, I think the hype may have been the biggest drawback for me, personally. I was hoping for more of the "horror" element and while it was definitely there, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

  It took a little bit to grow on me initially, but by the time we hit the middle of act two I was all in and rooting for our hero. The final act really seemed like we were making our way through the stages of a video game.

  It was what I'd imagine a live action Bugs Bunny cartoon might be like. I'm not sure how some of the 2D aspects were implemented, but the art was actually pretty awesome. I am unexpectedly a fan. It's a fun watch!
