In his quest for a real connection, the main character ends up losing what’s truly important to him. Instead of looking for love and connection through genuine interactions, he relies on sex, drugs, and magical tricks to communicate. At first, I thought this was mostly a problem for our generation, thanks to dating apps, avoidant attachment issues, and tarot reading. Seems like our grandparents faced similar struggles. The film's message can get buried under all the beautiful scenery and symbolism, but I still liked it.
