mid movie for a slightly less mid book, still enjoyable, not revolutionary, but it is geared towards a younger audience who would most likely be more impacted by the material of the movie then I was. i feel like it is a good introduction step for those interested in riot grrl subcultures and feminism.

really cute movie, it's very simple and feel good but bonus points for having a queer romance that is more focusing on the romance part rather then the queer part. the movie doesn't make the romance feel out of the ordinary while also touching apon some of the societal pressures and ignorance that happens to those in a queer relationship.

Corpse Bride 2005
it's not a very good movie but one of my favorites. it's comforting much like most of Tim Burton's movies. it is visually stunning but with a simple plot, which is not inherently a bad thing but it causes the movie to lack some substance. as previously stated this seems to be a trend with most of Tim Burton's movies.
