  90% of the dialogue is fake-deep metaphors; the rest is unsubtle comparisons between the US and Europe. did we really need smokers in every single background. Jesse is moronic. He lacks the charisma to make his gimmicks endearing, attractive, or remotely funny. most insufferable mf ever i would not last 5 minutes without wanting to slap him . Calling this movie pretentious is an insult to every nyu film bro because even they can produce more interesting ponderings on the human condition.
