I was captivated by the beautiful cinematography. The performances in the film were brilliant and heartbreaking. I agree with some, that it lacked depth. I kept waiting for more to happen, to learn more about the characters. About Remi. But overall it was a a wonderfully shot film, that reduced me to tears (multiple times). The first half of the film really portrayed the beauty of childhood friendships. The gentle nature of Leo and Remi’s bond - their comfortable physical affection was so endearing, it’s something I’d like to see more of for male friendships on screen.

I finally watched Saltburn.
The cinematography was beautiful. Jacob was beautiful (as we all know). The style of the whole film was consistent, rich and classy. The colours, the actors, everyone and everything about this film was truly stunning.
And it had a very interesting take on obsession and manipulation. I liked when Felix confronted Oliver about hooking up with Venetia, Oliver was so quick and casual to lie about it all, and blame Farleigh. Olivier was also extremely perceptive,…
