  The Brutalist 2024

  That first part was absolutely amazing in every single way : cinematography, control of the narration and the time, like I was REALLY liking it. It make this second part even more frustrating to watch : everything went too quickly, it's like Corbet didn't know how to end his characters' arc and even some screenplay's choices were .... Questionable to say the least. However, it still had some beautiful shots but yeah, I was really bummed by the downgrade in the writing quality.

  All in all, it is a good film, especially for that first part but it is not THAT great

  Nickel Boys 2024

  The directing was absolutely phenomenal. You can feel the heart (and sweat) that I've been put into this movie. The fact that it exists and that it got nominated at the Oscars is a goddamn miracle. With that said, I really struggled with the second half of the movie, it was a bit too long for me but it is a very important story and i'm glad it is told

  The natural urge to drop everything at once and begun a biological farm in the French countryside.

  Joke aside, this documentary make me really sad and happy at the same time. Happy to see some people are trying to save us and nature from collapse, all the part on the question of cohabitation with wolves in Jura was really good to see as a french ppl often seeing farmers pro-killing wolves than the ones wanting to adapt to them.
