"When this kind of fire starts, it is very hard to put out. The tender boughs of innocence burn first, and the wind rises, and then all goodness is in jeopardy."

Harrowing, jaw-dropping, earth-shattering. A candid, unvarnished depiction of the life-derailing trauma wrought by insidious abuse. “I know it’s not a honorable thing to cheat on your wife but that doesn’t make me a murderer!” - Chris, the most unfaithful husband and general duplicitous scumbag played by the most unconvincing actor of all time.

My dad wanted the entire family to watch a film on New Year's, so this was the one he settled on. Starring the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis, this suspenseful action thriller unexpectedly transforms into a hilarious rom-com the likes of which is enough to make even the most inveterate curmudgeon crack a smile. Great film for all audiences with a knack for spy films and/or romance.

A cinematic masterpiece, provoking existential angst to mesmerizing dismay. One of (if not the) most gorgeous, ruminative films of all time. Ingmar Bergman’s ingenuity cannot be overstated.
