If I could give this 10 stars I would.

This movie had me in tears multiple times. There are zero words, the score was masterful, and I was enraptured. A giant natural disaster comes along and fucks everything up for all living creatures and destroys homes and creates refugees and forces said creatures to work together, build empathy, look within, and appreciate the beauty of life and love.

    Sound familiar, Los Angeles?

Frank Oz remake of the 1975 brilliant but all too dystopian real Trad Wife sci-fi love story. I’ve been watching movies on a walking pad and this was pretty bananas to ingest while literally trying to shrink my thighs. It’s too much. Emasculated men stripping women of their power, intelligence, and autonomy. Tech bros that got together Bohemian Grove style to engineer the perfect woman. Like the dark side of Weird Science, but more like a documentary in 2025.

For example, “the whole event was so Sunset Boulevard that I’m now contemplating the mere concept of time and mortality” might be something you…

I can’t believe it took me until the year 2025 to watch this film in its entirety. Holy hell, I had no *idea* this zany sex noir was this bananas! I definitely need multiple viewings to unpack some of the plot shifts and epic diversions. I think by now it’s no spoiler to talk about the completely nonsensical inclusion of a Frankie Goes to Hollywood segment and how the movie just really high dives from there. Like when people talk…
