The sound design when the Mass Production Evas land and also when they make the kabbalah/tree of life pattern around Unit-01 are the single coolest pieces of sound design I've ever heard ever.
The rest of the movie is pretty cool too but the sound design is so underappreciated. So many goosebumps inducing moments and songs.

Somehow this movie managed to take the score, animation, voice acting, plotline and characters up a level from the first film (which was already a 12/10) and I genuinely cannot wait to see what is next from the objective BEST superhero film series I've ever seen.
The Spot going from a comedic goof to a legitimately terrifying threat is incredible. O'hara, Hobie, and many of the new & recurring Spider people were so unique and yet endearing. The shoutouts were clever…

Robot Carnival 1987
Putting this as my first review. I was shown this movie by some friends and it is just so lovely. The music, the animation, each story's totally different plot yet enjoyable vibe -- it's just all SUPER well done and it deserves 100x the attention it gets. Wild how a compilation of short films can keep wowing you over and over in totally different ways.
