  ‘This was always going to happen. She’s been dead since the beginning’ - The realisation that she had not in fact been totally abandoned by the universe and that the angels would help her and hadn’t all gone away, encompassed purely by the shifting emotion in Sheryl lee’s eyes as she descends into hysterical laughter/tears is THE most devastating and beautiful moment I’ve experienced in cinema so far.

  Did this movie lack most of the traditional makings of textbook filmmaking and storytelling ? Yes. Did it miss out on the ample opportunities it had to explore and criticise some of the crucial themes that the plot rested on? Maybe.
  In spite of this, did it make up for it in how cunty frankenhooker turned out to be? ABSOLUTELY !!!
  (But I do agree with others - far too much little freak guy, way not enough of frankenhooker 👎👎)
