  Not a bad film, it didn’t blow me away but I am a sucker for a historical fiction film and this was a true story so I can’t fault Guy Ritchie on this one. I hate to admit this but I don’t think I liked the casting of Henry Cavill and Alex Pettyfer; I feel like we could’ve made better choices there 😅 Cavill was amazing in The Man from U.N.C.L.E (2015) though.

  From start to finish, this movie had my mind boggled and my jaw dropped. My expectations were incredibly low because the Hunger Games trilogy is just too damn good that I didn’t see there being any conceivable chance of Suzanne Collins topping it. Collins hit this one out of the park, I could honestly give it five stars. 

  The little easter eggs that tribute to the original trilogy are authentically included; they don’t seem like quick, easy attempts at trying…

  I have to preface this review by saying I had no excitement for this film prior to its release. I had watched the first film on a plane with bad headphones and I was overwhelmed at the plot, its characters and its places. Whilst I was aware of the outstanding reviews after its premiere, I expected a good film but I was not expecting to thoroughly enjoy the film. Boy, was I proven wrong.
