State of the art photography. Very poetic and dreamlike.

The plot's dense as fuck, and the clever use of French and Italian added another layer of mystery to the film. This is all about restraint and nobility, which is convincingly rendered.

Something random I downloaded years ago. Quite a good romantic story, set among the peasantry.

The film is extremely tactile, with some really beautiful shots of the merry-go-round and some evocative black-and-white photography, though the focus is a bit iffy.

Got triggered by the subtitles - glitches annoy me - and that distracted me for a few minutes near the climax.
