  i think I would have enjoyed this movie more if the book already wasn’t one of my favourite books. When you read a book first, you have your own clear image that you’ve created in your mind of the character and landscape that a movie is never going to compare to. In the book, the main relationship is that of the one between Kya and the marsh, or more so nature as a whole which was the beauty of the book which the movie didn’t touch on as much. In saying that, I did like the movie for what it was!
