  the deep and meaningful dialogue/thoughts/quotes from john green’s book just do not translate well into a movie. i think the casting was horrible (they look like siblings) and so i couldn’t get as into it as i thought i would. i didn’t like the acting and the only character i thought did his part was isaac. two scenes i could look past the acting/looks and appreciate the emotion were his pre-funeral and her crying in her room
