i'm actually giving it 3.75 stars but i'm broke so we round down on the half star system

this scratched sooo many deep, deep itches in my brain! bare but lots to hold on to. avoid learning the plot before watching. what you need to know is: intentional cinematography, focused themes, play/poem, gentle sound, big concepts boiled down into single lines, characters thoughts are largely unspoken (good acting).
white ppl in the theatre kinda killed the vibe i'd like to see it again not in that environment

LISTEN! i watched this movie with pam who has a bachelors in linguistics and is in grad school for speech pathology so watching this movie with them was Everything. i was hanging on to every word they had to say.
i highly recommend watching if you're looking to put something on with friends to use ur critical thinking brains to tear it apart. and if u have a friend who studies linguistics , i highly recommend begging them to watch w you like they're on a podcast.
