20 minutes in I started crying and couldn't stop until it ended. Devastating movie, but very beautiful too. Loved it. It deserved all the praise it got and more

Weirdest pacing I've ever seen in a serious movie. Had a few good scenes but overall the writing was bad. Lacks the emotional vibes the books had. Nothing felt natural. Everything was fast. Mixing the time lines was a bad idea, were we supposed to feel bad about a character we don't know anything of dying?
