The way Quentin Tarantino is able to get you fully involved in long dialogue scenes is something I’ll never get over. He made a whole scene about not tipping entertaining

2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
The visuals were beautiful especially for something from 1968. Just a beautifully shot movie all around. Kubrick was way ahead of his time with a lot of the space scenes and no gravity scenes.
