  What this movie actually did was criticize men for wanting liberal women but not actually wanting them to be free. 
  Bella Baxter is not literally a baby stuck in an adult woman's body. 
  It's explained in the scene where Bella asks Godwin:
   "Am I the daughter or the mother?"

  "My atoms have always loved your atoms."
  Nobody will understand why I'm watching this movie again at midnight, but I need to feel some kind of existential crisis. Something in my soul touched. Everything is perfect: the script, the aesthetics, the acting, the soundtrack... This is a work of art.
  "I would recognize your eyes in all lifetimes."
   So our past lives are not saved  in the mind but in our eyes?
