  greatest shakespeare adaptation of all time?? an incredibly fun and happy movie that keeps your attention and only works because the performers are firing on all cylinders.

  i am so endeared to emma thompson now, and most of the cast is excellent (though i do think that denzel washington and keanu reeves were underutilised, there's not much that could be changed considering the source material. and robert sean leonard is adorable as claudio but seems a little out of his depth next to these superstars.) brooding keanu reeves as don john was INSPIRED

  finally watched it after a year of searching and it did not disappoint. justine triet’s command and vision of every shot is masterful. sandra hüller obviously the standout performance. hot french lawyer. there’s not much else i can say
