This was a really cute movie. But that’s basically it. It obviously tackles some serious issues, but i feel like it always stays just beneath the surface, and doesn’t really dive deep enough into the topics. The plot twist isn’t surprising either. That being said, it’s still a fun, lighthearted watch, and a (tiny) step in the right direction.
