Kwaidan 1964
A film made up of 4 different ghost stories, each one more beautiful than the next. The sound design really emphasizes the sparseness of the movement, dialogue and space in every story, There are many beautiful shots of women wearing long silk robes with black hair that touches the floor, moving between places like they are floating. A soothing watch, like your grandma telling you a folk tale.
