Barbie 2023
i feel like the movie could’ve been better if it went with a more existential view of things, rather than rushing through one main patriarchal issue. it made the biggest struggle in the world look like it was gender imbalance, I would’ve loved to see Barbie realizing that there’s mental illness, addiction, homelessness, ect. it could’ve given a really bleak look to our world in general, and been a wake up call to how treacherous it actually is.
