  Genius engineer (who knows more than everyone else) gets a mission to save humanity from a genius professor (who seems to run NASA on his shoulders), and ultimately succeeds because of his even more genius daughter (who is just the most intelligent savior of human kind)! Had only a little more brainpower been used towards creating complex characters, instead of (the «visual» representations of) complex, far-stretched theories of physics … Though maybe this was the contrast Nolan was going for?…

  One word: Baffled. Undoubtably this is Godard’s best work. You can almost call the film the Summa Godard, as it simply summarizes the directors undeniably genius-like skills in the art of filmmaking. Watching an art piece like this takes me back to the Age of Enlightenment, where the belief of Animal Rationale still stood strong. Heck, let us go as far back in time (if there even is such a thing) as the Ancient times, with Aristotle’s own words: Zoon Logikon.…
