  Visually, I would give this piece of art 5 stars. Every single detail in every scene felt like it had purpose. Throughout the entire movie, the spaciousness of the house combined with the fake feel of all props created such a deeply unsettling feeling. All noises, from dogs barking to clocks ticking were quickly noticed, turned into almost a white noise when the scene intensified, then were felt harshly when they were gone. I found myself pointing out these noises…

  This was probably one of the better movies I’ve ever seen. It was hilarious, almost perfectly paced, and the commentary was just subtle enough that I’m sure certain people walked out of the theatre not understanding it. 

  I usually gauge how invested in a movie I am by the number of times I feel tempted to check my phone, and this movie only had 1. So not perfect, there was a moment that dragged and a chunk that felt it went to long, but overall incredible.
