This film is very melodramatic and sappy and the direction might be kind of obvious if you’re familiar with these types of movies. The film however more than earns these tender emotional scenes by having very likable lead characters. I think the with this type of small cast, the characters and their relationships are given the perfect amount of time to be explored and developed. Short, simple, great terrifying visuals, and a great addition to the Spider-Verse film series that fleshes out Miles’ character even more.

Seeing a character you love and relate to have a panic attack and deal with anxiety and depression is actually very heartbreaking.

(I’ll be rewatching it again once it releases officially)
